Early in the Morning by The Gap Band 🚃 Soul Train Greatest Hits July 82 HQ

🚃 Soul Train July 1982 HQ - Super dance funk/boogie track from 1982, "Early in the Morning" by The Gap Band, 2nd song of the episode following Stevie Wonder's "Do I Do". Awesome groove and beat, just like the other clips. Closes with a special opening of classic jam and "wildfire" hit of that Summer, "Forget Me Nots" by Patrice Rushen Live. Plus Don Cornelius intro. Patrice Rushen, former Soul Train dancer, also played Electric Piano and Synthesizer on the track. From a taped 2007 rebroadcast. Reimagined the mix and improved picture.
