Discogs reviewer — "A smooth disco-soul tune that glides along effortlessly. The chorus line is the final touch; a proper end-of-the night tune." It builds steadily to a plateau, then raises key and rides out to the end. Group members are connected to Soul Train.
From Discogs bio: "Formed 1976 in New York by Soul Train booking agent Dick Griffey and British producer Simon Soussan. When the first Shalamar release Uptown Festival was a success, they decided to form a group proper, and plucked members Jody Watley (b. 30th January 1959, Chicago), Jeffrey Daniel (b. 24th August 1957), and Gary Mumford that was replaced by Gerald Brown, from the Soul Train set where they were primarily dancers."
