New clip — Rare music video for 1968 Simon & Garfunkel's classic 'Mrs. Robinson' as shown on the 1968 Grammys, a playful clip shot at Yankee Stadium, that I restored. Written by Paul Simon. Grammy winner for Best Performance by Contemporary Pop Vocal Group or Duo, the song won the 1968 Record of the Year (post soon). The top award was first given out in 1959, and "Mrs. Robinson" was the first Record of the Year with ties to rock music [Songfacts]. Introduction from Don Rickles and Tiny Tim. 

According to Art Garfunkel, this song may never have been recorded had it not been for The Graduate director Mike Nichols, who asked the duo for songs for his film [from Songfacts].
